Let’s make some dreamy sunlit magic.
SHOOTING PORTRAITS IN GOLDEN HOUR
Meet me in a dreamy open field to learn how exactly to shoot in the hour every photographer raves about. I understand it can be overwhelming shooting into direct sunlight, and it’s not as simple as it looks. To enroll in this class, you should have a good understanding of shooting in manual mode and feel comfortable with your camera. I would also strongly encourage that you have a portrait lens with an aperture of 1.8 or lower (examples include Canon or Nikon 50mm, 85mm, 35mm lenses). This class takes place during sunset and includes a model.
WHAT WE’LL COVER:
- camera settings when shooting in direct light
- how to shoot into and behind sunset
- blue hour and how to continue shooting after the sun sets
- simple tips on editing your golden hour images
THE DETAILS:
Wednesdays April 12 and 19 from 6:00-8PM | capped at 10 participants
Location will be announced prior to class, but will be somewhere in the Lewisburg, PA area.
BONUS: Add on an intense 45 minute editing session on top of your class for only $45. This will be scheduled before class #2 in my home in Northumberland, PA
Each student receives a packet of knowledge on the day of, cheat sheets for on-the-go shooting, and a follow-up with Amanda two weeks after classes end for any additional questions. I never leave you hanging.
