Trahan Family
How to photograph a two year old: Let him be wild. Let him run away so he can come back to you again. Let him take a bite from a pine cone, climb logs, be angry. Kiss him, untangle his hair so it can be tangled again, carry him on your shoulders, tell him about the sun, where it goes when it sets. Wish it goodnight. Most of all, be gentle. With him. With yourself. This is a season of movement, and it won’t last forever.
